Xiaomi is really not slacking and is working hard on its next smart phones “T-series”, under the names Xiaomi 14T and Xiaomi 14T Pro. Today we’re going to show you a massive leak of detailed renders and photos, technical specifications, as well as European selling prices.
Xiaomi 14T: These are the leaked specifications
The Chinese manufacturer is again playing around with the design, and the Xiaomi 14T series will bring sharper edges, a distinct square and protruding rear camera module, plus an appealing finish on the back panel. We can see patterned textures, for example, in the Lemon Green version (Xiaomi 14T).
Starting with the base model Xiaomi 14T, we can expect a 6.67″ 1.5K AMOLED display with a high refresh rate up to 144 Hz. There will also be the MediaTek Dimensity 8300U chipset, 12 GB RAM, and 256 GB of internal storage.
The camera lineup features a 50 MP main sensor Sony IMX906, complemented by a 50 MP telephoto lens (2.6 x 50 mm) and a 12 MP ultra-wide sensor.
The front camera will be housed in a cutout in the display and will offer a 32 MP resolution. The design also includes enhanced protection against water and dust, with certification IP 68.
The integrated battery in the base model will offer a standard capacity 5000 mAh, which users are familiar with from previous models.
Xiaomi 14T Pro: A more powerful MediaTek chip and changes in the cameras
At first glance, the differences in the Pro model would be quite hard to spot. In the photos, these smartphones look very similar, although Xiaomi 14T Pro will come in slightly more elegant color variants, such as Titan Black.
On the front, it has a 6.67″ 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate. However, it’s paired with a different processor—this time a flagship chip MediaTek Dimensity 9300+. There’s also no shortage of 12 GB RAM and 512 GB of internal storage.
The main camera here is a 50 MP sensor LF900, complemented by a 50 MP telephoto lens (2.6 x 60 mm) and a 12 MP ultra-wide sensor.
The front camera is again in a cutout in the display and has 32 MP. The design also includes enhanced protection against water and dust, with certification IP 68. In this case too, you’ll find a 5000 mAh battery. We don’t know the charging speed yet.
Expected selling prices and configurations from Xiaomi
Finally, we need to emphasize that these selling prices and configurations are still speculation. We’ll have to wait for the press conference for their final confirmation, which will take place on September 26, 2024.
However, these configurations are expected to include Xiaomi 14T and Xiaomi 14T Pro:
- Xiaomi 14T: 12/256 GB for approx. 578 € (Titan Gray / Titan Blue / Titan Black / Lemon Green)
- Xiaomi 14T Pro: 12/512 GB for approx. 800 € (Titan Gray / Titan Blue / Titan Black)
