The POCO X6 series will be just as interesting again. As was the case in the previous period, the upcoming model lineup will deliver an excellent price-to-specs ratio. On the social network X, the specs for the POCO X6 and POCO X6 Pro devices were shared. We also got a design reveal.
This is POCO X6 together with POCO X6 Pro
First of all, we need to mention that the mentioned parameters don’t necessarily have to be 100% accurate. It’s expected that the POCO X6 phone will be a substantially renamed version of the already existing Redmi Note 13 Pro. The new model should therefore offer a 6.67-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The mobile phone’s heart will be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset with 12 GB of RAM.
A 5100 mAh battery will take care of great battery life and very fast charging, supporting maximum charging power of 67 W. The cameras will offer 64 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP resolutions. For occasional “selfies” or video calls, a front lens with 16 MP will be used.
The POCO X6 appeared on Amazon for the equivalent of €285. What’s also interesting is that there will be a version with 512 GB of internal storage as well.
The better-equipped sibling, the POCO X6 Pro, will likely offer specs from the Chinese model Redmi K70e. That means the manufacturer should use the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra chip together with 12 GB of RAM, the same OLED screen as in the non-“Pro” edition, and a 5500 mAh battery supporting 67 W charging.
For photography enthusiasts, a trio of sensors with 64 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP resolutions will be prepared on the back. On the front, the 16 MP “selfie” camera won’t be missing. The price at the Amazon seller was set at the equivalent of €322.
The third POCO-branded device planned for year 2024 is the POCO M6 Pro 4G model. Renders for this model also leaked, and it will be available in black, blue, and purple. The smartphone will get massive storage up to 512 GB of internal memory along with 12 GB of RAM. It could be a reworked version of the Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G with a weaker 64 MPx rear camera.
Official launch in just a few days
POCO’s official profile on X has posted the official launch date for the new anticipated mid-range models, which falls on 11. January 2024. In addition to the POCO X6 series, the POCO M6 Pro model will also be unveiled.
