Xiaomi will unveil the global Xiaomi 13 series together with smart watches and headphones in just a few days. But we’ll have to wait a little longer for the Ultra model. The supposed rear design has leaked.
Xiaomi itself confirmed that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will be unveiled sometime in the second quarter of 2023. We were assured about its global availability by Lei Jun himself.

The photo was posted on the Chinese social network Weibo. We should be looking specifically at the final design of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra smartphone in a vegan leather finish.
It should be a similar material to what we saw in the Chinese version of the Xiaomi 13 series. We don’t know whether this variant will also reach the global market. The same applies to the Ultra model too.
Compared to the previous generation, Xiaomi 12S Ultra, the company will once again stick to the idea that the upper third will be raised and that a huge circular camera module will sit there.
In its center is the well-known Leica logo, which is actively involved in the development and tuning of the cameras. We already saw this collaboration last year with the Chinese Xiaomi 12S series.
The raised section compared to the rest of the back is done much more tastefully than we saw last year. However, we don’t see the manufacturer’s own logo anywhere, which could suggest that the image is not real.
It will be a top-tier camera phone
On the module itself, we can spot up to four lenses and a dual LED flash. The main one should be the 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor with 50 MP resolution.
The others will definitely be an ultra-wide camera and a periscope lens. But we’ll have to wait at least until the next leak for their specs.
In addition, we’ll also get the currently most powerful processor in the form of Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and wired charging of up to 120 watts.
