Xiaomi “Ultra” conference: Watch together with us!
Today, March 27, 2025, will be a big day for Xiaomi. At 13:00 (our time), the live stream will start from what is surely the most important conference in the brand’s history. They’ll present the anticipated Ultra smartphone of the 15th generation, as well as the new Xiaomi SU7 Ultra electric car. So this conference will definitely be all about overpowered “Ultra” products.
Besides that, we’ll also get a new premium notebook RedmiBook Pro 16 2025 and new high-end Xiaomi Buds 5 Pro headphones, which are meant to bring WiFi and groundbreaking sound quality.
Unfortunately, the entire conference will be broadcast only in Chinese, since these are products for the Chinese market for now. If you still want to watch the stream, you can do so on Xiaomi’s official Chinese website. We’ll be watching the whole conference, and our editorial team will tackle the tough translation from Chinese so we can bring you complete, detailed articles about every new product as quickly as possible.
Xiaomi 15 Ultra: The brand’s new tech pinnacle
Xiaomi is preparing its most advanced smartphone yet— the Xiaomi 15 Ultra model, powered by the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The biggest innovation is an improved periscope telephoto lens with a massive 200 Mpx sensor, capable of up to 100-times AI-enhanced zoom, taking mobile photography to a new level.
Official renders reveal a premium design with a two-tone silver-and-black combination, with a circular camera module on the back featuring the Leica logo.
Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun has already hinted that the price of the 15 Ultra model will be higher than its predecessor 14 Ultra, which launched at 6 499 yuan (~850 EUR). The reason is rising development costs and more expensive components. Of course, this pricing applies to China, and on the global market we expect a price at the level of last year’s model, which launched at 1499 €.
Xiaomi SU7 Ultra: A hyper-sport with over 1 500 horsepower
Xiaomi SU7 Ultra, the most expensive product in the brand’s history, comes with a trio of electric motors (V8s+V8s+V6s) that can deliver 1,548 hp. Besides the iconic yellow color, the car will also be available in this gorgeous green and elegant gray shade, which we presented in our article.
This electric car uses a second-generation Kirin battery, thanks to which it can go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 1.98 seconds and reach a top speed exceeding 350 km/h. Xiaomi, meanwhile, kept the same chassis, motors, and battery system that were used in the concept version.
RedmiBook Pro 16 2025: An AI notebook for professionals
Xiaomi’s Redmi sub-brand will unveil the new RedmiBook Pro 16 2025, a professional laptop designed for the AI era. The device uses the Xiaomi AIPC engine, enabling intelligent system optimization and easy file transfer between Apple devices.
The laptop will be powered by the latest Intel® Core™ Ultra 2 processor generation with 96 TOP AI computing power. The design follows a minimalist style with an ultra-thin display bezel and will be available in at least two color variants—white and blue. Xiaomi positions it as a high-performance work tool with long battery life, with sales starting right after the official launch.
More news and a global presentation at the MWC 2025
Alongside these flagship products, Xiaomi will also introduce the Xiaomi Buds 5 Pro, a central air conditioner, a double-compartment refrigerator, a combined washer-dryer, and a smart speaker with an AI assistant.
Xiaomi 15 Ultra and SU7 Ultra models will also be presented at the upcoming global trade show MWC 2025, where the global public will be able to try them for the first time. The global conference will take place on March 2, and we’ll be following it closely as well.
