With a high-performance power bank for travel, you often have to make compromises. Either you get a large capacity but weaker power, or high power with lots of separate cables. MIIIW Energy Column Pro Max from the Xiaomi Youpin ecosystem tries to solve both at once.
It has a massive capacity of 27 200 mAh, total power up to 165 W, and two built-in charging cables directly in the body. With its 98 Wh, it’s also designed to fit under the important 100 Wh limit used for in-flight battery transport.

Up to 165 W and four devices at once
MIIIW offers a total of four outputs, and the available power is automatically divided among the connected devices. On the top side, you’ll find one USB-C and one USB-A port, while the other two outputs are cables built directly into the power bank’s body.
One of them is extendable up to 70 cm, and after use it winds back in. The manufacturer states a lifespan of 20 000 pulls for its mechanism. The second cable is short and is great for charging, for example, a phone placed right next to the power bank.
The USB-C output supports HyperCharge up to 120 W with compatible Xiaomi devices, while via the more universal USB Power Delivery standard it reaches a maximum of 100 W. USB-A provides up to 22.5 W.
Especially interesting is the option to charge a laptop and a phone at the same time—where the power bank can split power into 100 W + 65 W. Recharging the power bank itself is also fast, since the input power reaches up to 100 W.
27 200 mAh doesn’t mean 27 200 mAh at the output
Inside there are four battery cells with a capacity of 6,800 mAh, which together add up to the marketing-stated 27,200 mAh. However, that doesn’t mean you’ll get the same capacity on the USB output. MIIIW lists a rated capacity of 15,500 mAh (5 V / 3 A). The difference is related to, among other things, the cell voltage, converting the voltage to the output, and charging losses—so you’ll find a similar difference on any power bank.
For a better idea, the manufacturer states approximately 1.3 charges of a MacBook Air, 4.3 charges of an iPhone 17 Pro, or 2.5 charges of an iPad Pro. However, when traveling by plane, the more important value is 98 Wh. So the power bank fits under the often-used 100 Wh limit for lithium batteries transported by passengers on flights.
These power banks fall under carry-on luggage, not checked baggage. Before you travel, though, we recommend checking the rules of your specific airline and country, as transport conditions may differ.
The display shows the power of each output
On the side of the power bank, there’s a 1.3-inch color display that isn’t only for showing the remaining battery percentage. MIIIW can display up to eight different pieces of information on it, including the current power of each output, remaining capacity, temperature, number of charging cycles, and battery health. So if you’re charging multiple devices at the same time, you can see directly on the power bank what power each output provides.
With this level of performance, temperature monitoring is also important. The power bank uses an NTC temperature sensor, which, according to the manufacturer, should measure temperature five times per second. The electronics can adjust the output power based on the measured temperature, while the metal construction helps dissipate the heat generated. At a maximum combined output of 165 W, it’s an important part of protecting both the power bank itself and the connected devices.
638 grams: You won’t be putting it in your pocket
With a capacity of 27,200 mAh, you should also expect a higher weight. The MIIIW Energy Column Pro Max weighs about 638 grams and measures 152 × 48 × 58 mm. So it definitely doesn’t belong in your pocket—but given the 98 Wh capacity, it’s more like a power bank designed for your backpack on longer trips, business trips, or vacations. The advantage is that its two USB-C cables are built right into the body, so you can leave separate cabling at home for some of your devices.
You also need to keep in mind that 165 W is the maximum combined output, not the output of a single port. According to the official specs, both built-in USB-C cables support a standalone USB-C port with up to 20 V / 5 A, i.e., 100 W with the standard voltage profile. The built-in cables and the USB-C port also support PPS up to 6 A. USB-A is more of an additional output for less demanding devices.
