Affordable and very popular fitness bracelet, the Xiaomi Mi Band 4 had one big drawback since its launch. It had support for English, but it didn’t have support for the Czech or Slovak language.
At least the first mentioned language is included in official support after a new software update. Here’s how to launch it.
Czech language and new update
In the Czech sales market, a sort of beta version of the system with native Czech language support also appeared. The version with minor bugs and difficult availability will now be replaced by the official software update. Installing it is really just a matter of a few minutes.
First, you need to have the latest and correct version of the Mi Fit app installed from the Play Store or App Store. Czech is part of version 4.0.14 and newer. Secondly, the installed version should offer a firmware update for the watches themselves. It is the version labeled 1.0.7.60.
All that’s left is to start installing that package, keep the bracelet within range, and after switching to the new firmware you should already have your Xiaomi Mi Band 4 in Czech.

Doesn’t work in Czech? We have a solution
Our editorial bracelet also remained in English even after the steps we took. Only setting the app language to Mi Fit to Czech (iOS), or setting the phone language to Czech (Android + MIUI) helped. Diacritics display without any problems, but emoji smileys are still missing.
Some issues may occur when using the app Mi Band & Tools on Android. In this mobile app, you need to turn off forced language switching. Still, we definitely recommend installing the new update—you can only benefit.
