During the tenth anniversary event of Xiaomi’s founding, we witnessed the unveiling of various new products from this Chinese giant. Some of them, we had already suspected something about here before their official reveal.
A very pleasant surprise is the new go-kart edition Ninebot GoKart Pro, which—by the way—Xiaomi is also behind.
Besides new smartphones, we also got a special edition of the well-known go-kart
Ninebot GoKart Pro is a go-kart that falls under the power of Xiaomi. In other words, we’ve seen the launch of a truly special edition. The Lamborghini theme is, after all, a childhood dream for more than one racing fan.
In addition to the Lamborghini-style color scheme, this piece also features various logos and other recognizable details that point to the legendary car brand. Ninebot GoKart Pro Lamborghini Edition promises up to 62 laps on a single charge, for a total length of 400 meters at a maximum speed of 40 kilometers per hour.
This top speed is also 3 kilometers per hour higher compared to the standard version without the added “Lamborghini” tag. Power comes from a battery pack that adds up to 432 Wh. Even the tires have changed slightly—now they shouldn’t be bothered by even some fun drifts, either.
In this edition, the Ninebot GoKart Pro sounds like a real Lamborghini
As an extra bonus, there is also a program that ensures loud sounds are played to let not only the driver, but also the surroundings know that there’s a beast “under the hood” in the form of a Lamborghini engine. Of course, it’s only an artificial sound reproduction.
Electric motors produce any sound only in a minimal amount. The product has already appeared on the Xiaomi Youpin page too, with a pre-order price of 9999 yuan, which is about €1225 or 1439 USD.
Here, if you’re curious, you can also find some more information about this upgraded novelty, but keep in mind that the web page is entirely in Chinese.
The Ninebot GoKart Pro Lamborghini Edition go-kart can be ordered only by customers within China, and it will go on sale on August 16.
