Xiaomi has truly many products for different uses, but the most popular accessory for smartphones is power banks. That’s why the manufacturer introduced one, with a thoughtfully designed carrying strap.
The power bank is called Xiaomi Power Bank Built-in Cable. It combines a high battery capacity in a compact body, while Xiaomi also focused on the price-to-performance ratio.
Cable integrated into the strap
The power bank has really compact dimensions and will be available in two colors on sale – light blue and light gold. The body is made of hard plastic, so even a possible drop won’t damage the power bank.
You probably noticed the integrated carrying strap. It’s not just a regular strap, but a charging cable with a USB-C connector. Xiaomi has cleverly and elegantly integrated a charging cable into the power bank design.
However, it’s not the only way to charge—on the power bank body you’ll also find another USB-C connector, USB-A connector and, of course, a power button. Charging is indicated by four discreet LED diodes.
Enough capacity and a low price
The power bank itself offers a sufficient capacity of 10,000 mAh, which is more than enough as an emergency power source for your drained smartphone. As for maximum output, the power bank can reach 22.5 W. The wireless charging coil is absent here, so you only have charging via cable.
Xiaomi leaves nothing to chance and has added a lot of safety technologies to the power bank in case of possible malfunctions during charging. Thanks to them, you’ll avoid short circuits or overloads.
On the Chinese market, the Xiaomi Power Bank Built-in Cable will be sold for only 129 yuan, which is about €17 after conversion. It’s not clear yet whether we’ll see this product on the global market as well.
