During the launch, two models should be shown. The first, the base one, is Redmi K40, and the more advanced sibling K40 Pro won’t be missing either. It’s rumored that alongside the phones, a new lineup of notebooks called RedmiBook Pro could also be unveiled.

Current reports say that the Redmi K40 smartphone will come with a MediaTek processor called MediaTek Dimensity 1200 5G. Redmi K40, on the other hand, will hide an American rival under the hood in the form of Snapdragon 888 5G.

Previous certifications revealed that both devices will come with 5G network support along with 33 W wired charging, however without an adapter in the box. The battery should have a capacity of over 4000 mAh.
