This doesn’t happen often. POCO F9 Ultra has its official premiere on 1 September, but our partner already has stock and opened pre-orders for it. That means you can order the new POCO flagship earlier than Xiaomi even manages to show it on stage — and at a price that’s noticeably below the expected European one.
The POCO flagship at a great price even before the premiere
You can get the POCO F9 Ultra from the trusted seller Gshopper, with whom we’ve worked long-term. This is a global version in a 12 + 256 GB or 12 + 512 GB configuration, shipped to Europe with their customized duty-free logistics. When it arrives, you won’t have to deal with any customs fees.
It’s an official global version, with Slovak and Czech language support, full support for 4G and 5G networks, Google apps, Google Pay — basically the exact same version that will be presented for Europe only a few days later. The seller will start shipping the first orders in early September.
While the official price based on leaks is expected to be around one thousand euros, here you’ll get down to 700 €. You’ll always find the current price and the coupon in the price box below.
Xiaomi Planet shopping tip: GShopper has now launched direct bank transfer payments, so you can save another 4.5 % off the product price! Compared to card / Google Pay payment, you can get this product much cheaper. We described the full bank transfer payment process in our article.

We’d also like to remind you that orders from DHgate come with our VIP support, which you get after downloading our extension for the Chrome browser on desktop only (when shopping on a smartphone, you can use the DHgate app).

Under the new name, it’s really a Redmi K100 Pro Max
POCO F9 Ultra isn’t entirely a new phone — it’s a rebranded version of the Chinese Redmi K100 Pro Max, which debuted in China a few weeks ago. We wrote about it back then, when the new POCO F9 generation started revealing itself. The main difference is the battery: the Chinese model has 9,070 mAh, while the global POCO gets a smaller but still massive 8,050 mAh battery.
The design is practically identical, and what stands out most is the back. Around the camera island you get a lit LED ring that reacts to notifications and music, and right next to it there’s a speaker grille with the text Sound by Bose. The phone includes a stereo setup tuned in cooperation with Bose, including a separate woofer — at least on paper, this is the most interesting sound POCO has ever offered.

How it looks in real life
Since the POCO F9 Ultra doesn’t have its premiere yet, the official photos are only renders for now. In the images below, you’ll therefore see the Chinese Redmi K100 Pro Max — the same hardware under a different name, with a different battery. The light ring around the camera is clearly visible in full.
You’ll be getting quite a big piece of tech in your hand. The dimensions should be 163.5 × 78 × 8.5 mm with a weight of about 238 grams, which is the price you pay for a huge battery. The durability should be rated at IP68, meaning the phone can handle being submerged in water.
Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and a display with a 185 Hz refresh rate
According to the info so far, the POCO F9 Ultra will run on a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip made on a 3nm process, with an Adreno 840 GPU. In Geekbench, the phone has already scored 2,980 and 10,030 points, putting it right at the very top of today’s Android lineup. The memory is fast UFS 4.1, and the phone doesn’t support microSD cards.
Up front, there should be a 6.9″ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 185 Hz and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. Plus Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and Gorilla Glass 7i protective glass. Those specs aren’t even available on most phones costing twice as much — and that’s exactly what makes the POCO F9 Ultra interesting.

A camera with 200 MP and a battery that lasts
The triple rear setup should be built around a 200 MP main sensor with optical stabilization. On top of that, you should get a 50 MP periscope with 5× optical zoom and a 50 MP ultra-wide lens with a 102° field of view. The video can go up to 8K at 30 frames per second. The selfie camera is said to be 32 MP.
A 8 050 mAh battery in such a thin body is almost insulting—today’s flagship phones are around 5 000 mAh. Charging should be 100 W with a cable, 50 W wirelessly, and 22.5 W in reverse wireless mode, so your phone can also charge your earbuds. The system should be Android 16 with HyperOS 3 on top, plus four major updates.
What to watch out for
Let’s be fair: the phone hasn’t been officially unveiled yet, so all the specs above are unofficial—they come from leaks and from the GSMArena database. Only the September 1st launch will show what actually matches. It’s also a pre-sale: the phone ships only after the official release, not the very next day.
There’s also a small inconsistency in the memory options: the seller offers 12 + 256 GB and 12 + 512 GB, while GSMArena lists 16 GB RAM for the larger variant. Until the phone is out, take the configurations with a bit of reserve and decide based on what’s shown directly in the offer.
