POCO X4 GT: 144 Hz display and MediaTek Dimensity 8100 5G
The POCO X4 GT smartphone should build on the successes of its predecessors in the “X-series” devices, such as POCO X3 Pro. The new model will also try to impress with a 6.6″ IPS LCD display with Full HD+ resolution (2400 x 1080 pixels, 20.5:9), a dynamic refresh rate up to 144 Hz, Dolby Vision support, DC Dimming technology, and more than 1 billion colors.
The manufacturer also highlights reduced blue light exposure, at a hardware level, by up to 30% compared to competing LCD panels. The main advantage of this device is the integrated 5 nm processor MediaTek Dimensity 8100 5G (TSMC technology), featuring four Cortex-A78 cores (2.85 GHz) and four Cortex-A55 cores.
This processor is also paired with a Mali-G610 graphics chip and an APU 580, helping with rendering and performance. In addition, you get 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256 GB of fast UFS 3.1 internal storage. High-quality cooling is also present, via LiquidCool 2.0.

The equipment also includes Wi-Fi 6 technology and Bluetooth 5.3, for smooth accessory connectivity with minimal latency. You’ll also appreciate the dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio support, as well as the vibration motor “X-Axis,” and a 3.5 mm audio connector for connecting headphones.
In this case, the battery has a capacity of 5080 mAh. According to the manufacturer, this smartphone should deliver two days of battery life on a single charge. It also includes support for fast wired charging 67 W. You’ll reach 50% capacity in just 15 minutes with the included charger, and full capacity takes 46 minutes.
Price and availability of the new smartphone
The new POCO X4 GT smartphone will be officially available in Black, Silver, and Blue color options. Sales will start with selected partner retailers on 27.06.2022. However, the manufacturer has also prepared special “Early bird” launch prices from 27.06.2022 to 07.07.2022, which will be even lower.
