Redmi as a subsidiary brand of Chinese Xiaomi, has officially unveiled a new smartphone in the form of the Redmi Note 10T. However, once again, this is a recycled model.
Redmi Note 10T: A Recycled Model
Why recycled? The new Redmi Note 10T intended for the Russian market is actually almost identical to the previously unveiled global model Redmi Note 10 5G. We’ve even spotted it in the listings of international sellers with handy discount coupons already.
Xiaomi mixes up the names of its models not only in China, but also across different markets in Europe. Practically identical models are available with the Note 10 5G branding, for example in Slovakia and the Czech Republic, but in Russia it’s called Note 10T.
The Redmi Note 10T model, as its official name in Russia goes, will come with a 6.5″ IPS LCD display. It includes a dynamic refresh rate of up to 90 Hz.
Besides that, there’s also a powerful processor called MediaTek Dimensity 700. The main advantage of this chip is also support for fast 5G connectivity.
48 MPx, 5000 mAh battery and also an NFC chip
The phone also copies other features from its twin. On the back, you’ll find the main camera with a resolution of 48 MPx. In this case, the manufacturer has also built in a large battery of up to 5000 mAh that can be charged with a fast 18W charger.
It also doesn’t miss out on other popular technologies like NFC for mobile payments, for example via Google Pay, and an infrared port that lets you control your home electronics.
Price and availability of this product
The official retail price of the announced Redmi Note 10T model on the Russian market is 19,990 Russian rubles. That comes to roughly €231 / $275 at the current conversion rate.
