As the year 2021 comes to an end, more information is emerging about new smartphones that manufacturers plan to launch in 2022. Our favorite Xiaomi is included as well. The latest leak has revealed that the manufacturer is preparing up to 6 new smartphones, including Redmi Note 11 Pro, which will be available on the global market.
New models for the global market
Models from the Redmi Note 11 series have already been officially launched in the domestic Chinese market, and it’s only a matter of time before they reach the global one. It’s a popular smartphone lineup that stands out thanks to great features combined with a great price.
Two models out of the six, whose information leaked, will be sold under the POCO brand. Of the remaining four, two models will get MediaTek processors and two will be equipped with Qualcomm chipsets. One of these models should even be available in China. What’s interesting is that the code names of all the upcoming novelties contain French words.
Redmi Note 11T Pro (K6S, peux)
The K6 marking belongs to the Redmi Note 10 Pro model, which thanks to its affordable price and great specs became very popular. The K6S label likely belongs to its successor. And this model is the only one of the new releases that will be on sale in China as well.
However, it won’t be a completely identical model. The Chinese version will differ from the global one by offering a different main camera sensor. One version will get a Samsung ISOCELL GW3 with a resolution of 64 megapixels, while the other will have a 108-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HMD sensor. Which sensor will be for which market, we don’t know yet.
Both variants will share the 8-megapixel IMX355 ultra-wide-angle sensor and the two-megapixel macro lens. We don’t have information about the specific processor used, but we know it will be a model from Qualcomm.
The smartphone will also be sold under the POCO brand; specifically it will be the POCO M4. Its code name is k6P (peux).
Redmi Note 11S (K6T)
The Redmi Note 11S model will be equipped in a very similar way as well. It received the code name viva, or rather vida. It’s possible that, based on that, it will come in two variants. What we know is that it will offer a 108-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HM2 main sensor and the same ultra-wide and macro sensor as the Redmi Note 11T Pro.
The main difference will be the processor used, which in this case will be provided by MediaTek. Whether it will be a 4G or 5G chipset, we don’t know yet.
Redmi Note 11S (K7S)
Another variant of this smartphone will be the one with code name k7S (miel). The K7 label currently belongs to Redmi Note 10 and Redmi Note 10S models. The new model will offer a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B40 sensor; the other two will again be the same as the ones that the models described above will get.
This model will be sold with the same specs under the POCO brand as well, with its code name being K7P (fleur).
The leak also talks about a model with the code name miel_pro, which will get a 108 Mpx Samsung ISOCELL HM2 sensor, a 90 Hz display, and a MediaTek processor.
Redmi Note 11 Pro (K7T)
Probably the best-equipped model in the incoming lineup. It will get a Snapdragon processor from Qualcomm, and it’s interesting that it will come in two variants that will differ in NFC support. The main camera sensor will be the Samsung ISOCELL JN1 with a resolution of 8160 x 6144 pixels.
