The Redmi Note smartphone series is one of the most successful of all time. Devices from this lineup offer an ideal balance between price and specs. In other words, if you buy a smartphone from the Redmi Note series, you definitely won’t make a mistake.
The latest announced lineup had the serial number 10. The launch of smartphones from the Redmi Note 10 series took place in mid-March, and if you follow what’s going on around the Redmi brand more closely, you know the manufacturer tends to introduce new series with roughly a six-month gap.
Redmi Note 11 series is just around the corner
Renowned leakers have shared new information revealing the specs of the Redmi Note 11 family. As for the launch date, it’s not known yet, however it’s expected that the phones could see the light of day even before 11.11., when the traditional Chinese shopping festival takes place.
Leakers are currently mentioning two models. The base Redmi Note 11 5G, according to everything, will feature a 120 Hz IPS LCD display, a MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor, and a 5000 mAh battery.
On the front, a 13 MPx selfie camera will take its place. On the back, the main sensor role will be handled by a 50 MPx sensor. The price for the 6 + 128 GB memory configuration is estimated at 1199 yuan, 158 € / 185 $. For the 8 + 128 GB version, it should be 1599 yuan, 211 € / 247 $.
The specs of the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G will, logically, be even more attractive. On the front, we’ll still have 120 Hz, but now with an OLED panel, which—based on previous experience—will be a real treat for your eyes. Under the hood, we’ll find the MediaTek Dimensity 920 chipset.
Instead of a 13 MPx selfie camera, the manufacturer has opted for a 16 MPx selfie camera. The 50 MPx main sensor has been swapped for a 108 MPx sensor. We also expect a 5000 mAh battery, 67 W fast charging, JBL speakers, and NFC for convenient contactless payments.
Prices for the different memory configurations are expected to be as follows:
- 6 + 128 GB for 1599 yuan / 211 € / 247 $
- 8 + 128 GB for 1799 yuan / 237 € / 278 $
- 8 + 256 GB for 1999 yuan / 263 € / 309 $
