The end of the year in the form of the Xiaomi group will truly be spectacular. In just under a week, we have the Xiaomi 12T series and the Redmi Pad tablet, the Xiaomi 13 series will arrive by the end of the year, and sometimes this year we should also get to know the Redmi Note 12 smartphones. The Pro model just passed 3C certification.
The portal TechGoing reported that one smartphone from the Redmi Note 12 series, specifically the Pro Model, was certified via the Chinese 3C authority, which could mean an early launch of the whole series.
On the global market already by the end of the year?
It is also rumored that Redmi wants to bring this series to the global market as well by the end of the current year, so if they really want to make it, they’ll have to move fast.
Lots of info about the Redmi Note 12 Pro model didn’t bring 3C certification. We only know that this model will feature fast 67-watt charging, meaning the same as its predecessor.
We expect three models
Its code name is M16, and along with that there are also labels M17 and M16UP, which belong to the same model lineup. The M16UP label should apply to the most powerful model in the series, so in this case the Redmi Note 12 Pro+.
From this naming, you can very easily infer that the series will consist of three models: Redmi Note 12, Redmi Note 12 Pro and Redmi Note 12 Pro+.
Presentation could be next month
Earlier information said that Redmi wants to bring these pieces to market perhaps already next month, aiming to get it done before the Chinese shopping festival Double 11.
It’s the biggest shopping festival, held on November 11, and it’s also known as Singles’ Day. After this date, the smartphones could be officially on sale. In other words, if that’s really how it turns out, then by the end of the year the company will still manage to launch the smartphones on the global market as well.
