As part of the new smartphone series Redmi Note 14, we also got the same-name base model, which is the most affordable option, with a 4G processor MediaTek Helio G99-Ultra.

New coupon prices in EU warehouses

The base Redmi Note 14 4G is already available from our Chinese partner DHgate, as well as from the international seller on the AliExpress marketplace. The great news is the fast availability from the EU warehouse, so you can expect it at home within 7 working days after shipping.

European regulations state that starting in 2025, smartphones sold on the European market will be delivered without a power adapter—in the box, you’ll find only the charging cable. The European Union took this step to reduce electronic waste and conserve natural resources. Customers can then choose whether they want to buy a new charger for the new device or keep using the one they already own.

⬆️ How long will this smartphone receive software support? Redmi Note 14 4G comes with promised security updates until 2031, with the final OS version being Android 18.

Platba cez DHgate: The platform has finally launched safe and reliable Google Pay payments! So now you don’t need to use Revolut / Wise cards for payment, and you can pay directly in EUR. We’d also like to remind you that orders from DHgate come with our VIP support, which you get after downloading our extension for the Chrome browser on desktop only (when shopping on a smartphone, you can use the DHgate app).

Are you shopping on DHGate for the first time?

The process is in the DHgate mobile app. The Buy Now button takes you straight from the product page to checkout, and the coupon box is all the way at the very end of the page—which is why most people miss it and pay the full price.

  1. Sign in and click Get the DiscountOn DHgate, create an account or log in—it also works via Google or Facebook. Then copy the coupon from our article and click the GET THE DISCOUNT button—it will open the exact product the code applies to.
  2. On the product page, click Buy NowDHgate redirects you from the product straight to checkout Place Order, and the cart is skipped. So before you click, check the variant—color, memory, and version.
  3. Fill in the address without diacritics and choose paymentAt the top of checkout, enter the delivery address—write your name, street, and city without accents and diacritics, otherwise the shipment may get stuck with the carrier. Then tap Select Payment Method. Also note the Ship from info—items shipped from the EU warehouse usually take days, and they don’t go through customs clearance.
  4. Scroll all the way down to the Coupon code lineThe coupon box is at the very end of the page, below the offer Buy It Together. Look for the line Coupon code with the text Enter code here and tap it.
Riadok Coupon code s textom Enter code here v pokladni aplikácie DHgate
You’ll find the Coupon code line only below the summary, above Order Total.
  5. Paste the code and confirm ApplyA window will open Use Promo Code. Paste the copied code into it and tap the yellow Apply. Enter the code exactly, including uppercase letters and without spaces.
Okno Use Promo Code so zadaným kupónom a tlačidlom Apply v aplikácii DHgate
Paste the code into the Use Promo Code window and confirm with the Apply button.
  6. Check the discount and payYou’ll see the applied coupon in the Saved line — when you open it, it will show as DH Coupon. Only when Order Total really lower, tap Confirm to pay.
Rozbalený riadok Saved s položkou DH Coupon v pokladni DHgate
After opening the Saved line, you can see the applied coupon as DH Coupon.
You only have about half an hour to pay. There’s a countdown on the Confirm to pay button — when it runs out, the order is canceled and you have to create it again. So enter the coupon before you start paying.
DHgate sometimes adds a discount automatically. The Saved line may already be filled in before you enter any code. After pressing Apply, compare the Order Total — if it didn’t go down, the code either wasn’t applied or it’s weaker than the discount DHgate gave you automatically.
Our extra service with VIP support — we’ll handle the order on DHgate for you and ship it straight to your address.

If you don’t have experience buying on DHgate, your payment won’t go through, or the coupon doesn’t work, we offer our readers and customers an order-handling service delivered directly to your address. You send us the money by bank transfer and we order the product straight to you. That way, you don’t have to worry about a failed payment or applying the coupon, and you can be sure the whole order goes through 100 % correctly. On top of that, you automatically get our VIP support — we handle any shipping issues for you and assist with warranty claims. The fee for this service is 15 € for the product price. You can contact us by email at info(@)xiaomiplanet.sk or on Messenger, where we’re active all the time.

MediaTek Helio G99-Ultra, 108 MPx and 33 W charging

The used processor matches the device’s low price. Specifically, it’s an octa-core model MediaTek Helio G99-Ultra, built on a 6 nm manufacturing process. It’s also paired with an ARM Mali-G57 MC2 graphics chip, plus 6 / 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128 / 256 GB of fast UFS 2.2 storage.

The main camera has a resolution of 108 MPx (f/1.7). There’s also a 2 MPx (f/2.4) macro sensor and a 2 MPx (f/2.4) depth sensor for background blur. The smartphone supports 1080p video recording at 30 and 60 fps, as well as AI photo features to enhance your content. The front camera has a 20 MPx resolution and is housed in a cutout within the display.

Other features include an in-display fingerprint sensor, AI face unlocking, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 5, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, and—surprisingly—also a 3.5 mm audio jack. The operating system is the older Android 14, with the HyperOS skin (it also supports an update to version 2.0) and support for Google Gemini AI integration.

The built-in battery has grown significantly across generations—by up to 10%. This time it has a capacity of 5500 mAh, and the smartphone also supports fast 33 W wired charging via USB-C. However, you won’t find a charger adapter in the box.
