Redmi Note 9T 5G smartphone: 6.53″ display and a MediaTek processor
In addition to its dimensions of 162 x 77.3 x 9.2 mm and a weight of 199 grams, this device also includes a large 6.53″ IPS display with a refresh rate of up to 90 Hz, Full HD+ resolution, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protective glass.
On the performance side, there’s an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor. Built on 7 nm technology, this chip supports 5G connectivity and significantly outperforms even the well-known Snapdragon 665 in performance benchmarks. The processor is also paired with the Mali-G57 MC3 graphics chip.
There’s also 4 GB RAM and 64 / 128 GB storage. You’ll also appreciate the upgraded and fast UFS 2.2 storage, plus water-drop protection (nanocoating) with an unspecified certification. The fingerprint reader is located on the side edge of the device, in the power button.
For the camera side, you get a main 48 MPx camera, complemented by a 8 MPx ultra-wide sensor and a 2 MPx macro lens. The front camera is 13 MPx and is housed in a cut-out at the top of the display.
TUV certification and a 5000 mAh battery
The smartphone still supports the standard 3,5 mm audio jack for connecting standard headphones. For gaming and multimedia enjoyment alike, powerful stereo speakers with automatic sound orientation depending on how you hold the smartphone are also a great fit.
When it comes to connectivity, NFC and an FM radio are included, along with an infrared port for controlling your home electronics. TUV Rheinland certification is also a plus—it guarantees a low level of blue light from the display, helping you protect your eyes.
This smartphone’s battery capacity is up to 5000 mAh, and it also supports fast 18W wired charging. The manufacturer also improved battery health optimization, so this time it should deliver the full capacity without excessive degradation for up to three years.
