Buying on AliExpress for the first time?

This process is done through the AliExpress mobile app, where most people shop. Two things matter: don’t use Buy now and enter the coupon only in the order summary in the Promo code field. After you click Pay now, you can’t add it anymore.

1. Copy the code and click GET THE DISCOUNTIn our article, copy the coupon and click the button GET THE DISCOUNT. The link will take you directly to the product in the AliExpress app.
2. Use Add to cart, not Buy nowOn the product card, scroll down and click Add to cart. Don’t use the Buy now button—this skips the cart, so later you won’t have a place to enter the coupon. Before that, make sure the variant is correct: color, version, and whether it ships from an EU warehouse.
3. Continue to Checkout via the cartA pop-up will appear: Added to cart!—tap Check it out. If it disappeared, open the cart using the icon in the bottom-right corner. In the cart, check the product and quantity, then tap the red Checkout button. Only the items marked with the red circle are included.
4. Fill in your address and card, then look for Promo codeIn the order summary, first enter the delivery address and payment card at the top. Below that, there’s a line Promo code — expand it with the arrow on the right.

   

5. Paste the code and confirm ApplyIn the field Promo code paste the copied code and click the black Apply. The code is case-sensitive and must not contain spaces.

   

6. Check your savings and payIn the section Summary expand the line Saved — you’ll see the applied coupon there as AliExpress coupons/codes. Only when Total is really lower, click Pay now.

   

Apply the discount again in the order summary. After you click Pay now, you can’t add a coupon anymore. If Apply shows an error, the code has either expired, doesn’t apply to your item, or your order doesn’t meet the minimum amount.

Redmi Watch 5: Here are the technical specifications

Redmi Watch 5 smartwatches were launched on the Chinese market back in November last year. Now, after a few months, they’re finally coming to Europe in their global version.

The watch offers a fairly large body with rounded edges. The reason for these dimensions is an exceptionally big display, the largest in this category. It measures 2.07″ and uses AMOLED technology, a 60 Hz refresh rate, and a crisp 324 ppi. The predecessor had a 1.97″ panel. This display delivers a maximum brightness of up to 1500 nits, ensuring excellent readability in direct sunlight.

The frames around the display are also great—the screen covers up to 82% of the front panel. But there are more improvements: the watch provides a linear motor that offers precise yet also quiet haptic feedback. It also has two microphones for noise reduction during calls.

150 sports modes, 5 GNSS levels, and 24 days on a single charge

Xiaomi also puts the focus on tracking your health and fitness. The Redmi Watch 5 come with a new proprietary heart-rate measurement algorithm that offers 5.2% higher accuracy compared to the predecessor. It also provides 10% better accuracy when monitoring sleep quality.

Smartwatch monitoring includes more than 150 sports modes, including pro options like running and cycling. There’s also a 5-level GNSS positioning tracking system, which enables precise tracking of your workouts. It also includes support for Bluetooth calls, local music playback, and additional apps like weather and alarms.

The construction offers water resistance with 5 ATM certification, and the control crown is made from quality stainless steel. The battery in the Redmi Watch 5 provides enough capacity for up to 24 days on a single charge.

Price and availability of the new Redmi smartwatches

The new Redmi Watch 5 will be available in colors – white, black, and purple. Sales in Europe are planned to start on January 15, 2025. For now, though, we only know the official UK retail price: 89.99 pounds. In the current conversion, that’s about €107.
