A display with up to 89 % coverage
The new RedmiBook 13 boasts, above all, a design. It’s made in a matte grey finish and really feels luxurious. The engineers managed to reduce the size to smaller dimensions than a sheet of paper in A4 format.
The RedmiBook 13 achieves 96% of an A4 sheet’s size. Its weight is an incredible 1.23 kg.
13.3-inch display stretches across 89% of the front panel area, while the bottom bezel under the display is just 9.96 mm thick. The display resolution is FullHD 1080P, and the viewing angle is up to 178 degrees.
Intel processors of the 10th generation
A very strong pillar of the entire RedmiBook 13 lineup is the integrated Intel Core 10th Gen processors. Cheaper versions of the Redmibook 13 come with Intel Core i5, while the most expensive model range is equipped with an Intel Core i7 processor with a total performance of 4.9 GHz. It promises a performance boost of up to 44.6% compared to the previous generation of notebooks.
Graphic rendering is handled by the Nvidia GeForce MX250 graphics card with 2 GB of GDDR5 type video memory. It’s a standard graphics type often used in portable computers — mainly thanks to its low requirements and sufficient performance even for gaming.
Three different versions of the RedmiBook 13 were introduced, and all three offer a combination of 8 GB of RAM. Storage is provided by a SSD drive with a capacity of 512 GB.
Powerful cooling, long battery life
Developers put special focus on active cooling. The entire cooling module is made of copper, which has a higher thermal resistance. Part of the cooling module is formed by two cavities with a diameter of 6 mm, ensuring a sufficient supply of cool air from the fans.
The new Redmibook 13 has built-in ultra-thin fans developed using technologies used in aviation. One fan has up to 74 blades made from an ultra-thin polymer used in aviation, which significantly increases the cooling effect. They managed to achieve a 25% higher efficiency while reducing noise levels by 2dB.
The new Redmi laptop comes with a battery that supports fast charging. In just 35 minutes of charging, it reaches 50% of the battery capacity. With one full charge, it can run for up to 11 hours.
A completely new feature is the improved synchronization with smartphones and other wearable devices, such as the Xiaomi Mi Band 4. With the new app in the RedmiBook 13, you can sync and transfer photos, videos, and all kinds of documents.
