Innovative Roborock once again pushes the limits of robot vacuum cleaners. At the CES 2025 tech show in Las Vegas, it unveiled its latest Saros Z70 model, which significantly outperforms what we’ve had so far.
The biggest Xiaomi group on Slovak Facebook
Roborock Saros Z70 brings up to 3 revolutionary features: a robotic extendable arm with a 300 g load capacity, an ultra-powerful motor with suction up to 22,000 Pa, and the ability to overcome obstacles up to 4 cm high. Let’s take a closer look at what this tech marvel can do.

OmniGrip: The arm that keeps your home tidy
The biggest new feature of the Roborock Saros Z70 robot vacuum is its foldable five-axis mechanical arm called OmniGrip, which comes with a camera and is cleverly hidden inside the device.
This arm can lift and relocate small items from the floor, such as socks, tissues, or slippers, so nothing will get in the way of its mission to perfectly clean your floors.
The OmniGrip arm has a load capacity of up to 300 grams, and its precision surprised probably all of us. Thanks to this, robot vacuums are becoming versatile helpers for your home.
Incredible suction power and top-tier mopping
The Roborock Saros Z70 has one of the most powerful motors on the market, with a suction power of an unbelievable 22,000 Pa, which is ideal for deep removal of dust, dirt, and pet hair.
Plus, it’s equipped with dual vibrating mops featuring VibraRise™ 4.0 technology, which automatically lift when carpets are detected. This revolutionary system simulates hand washing of floors, ensuring floors stay perfectly shiny—without streaks.
Navigation system with obstacle recognition
Improvements were also made to the room orientation system, resulting in the elimination of the traditional laser tower you may know from previous models. That’s why the Roborock Saros Z70 is only 7.98 cm tall, allowing it to get into even harder-to-reach places, such as under the sofa, furniture, or the kitchen counter.
With the innovative navigation system StarSight Autonomous System 2.0, it combines 3D mapping, dual ToF sensors, and an RGB camera. This technology ensures better navigation in space, precise object recognition, and efficient obstacle avoidance. That translates to more effective cleaning even in more complex spaces.
A revolutionary docking station that takes care of everything
The Roborock Saros Z70 vacuum also includes a top-notch docking station, which this time offers up to 10 advanced functions.
Along with standard features like charging and automatic dustbin emptying, you’ll also find mop cleaning with 80°C hot water, mop drying with hot air at 55°C, detergent dispensing, mop storage, or self-cleaning of the station itself.
Thanks to such an advanced system, maintaining the vacuum and the docking station is close to zero effort. Your only task will be emptying the dust container once every 7 weeks.
AI integration and smart home support
Integrating artificial intelligence (AI) and smart features is a must these days. The Roborock Saros Z70 comes with its own voice assistant “Rocky”, but besides that, it fully supports Amazon Alexa, Siri, and Google Assistant.
It includes a redesigned app with a new feature. Roborock SmartPlan 2.0, which means the robot automatically selects the right cleaning mode based on AI analysis of the level of dirt in your home.
It also includes Matter 1.4 integration, which will allow the vacuum cleaner to communicate with any smart home device on this platform. It also enables you to view the footage from its cameras in real time with a two-way communication feature. You can also use it, for example, to check on your pets.
Price and availability
The manufacturer hasn’t revealed the price yet, but according to its words, we can look forward to this vacuum already in the middle of this year. It will be the world’s first mass-produced robotic vacuum cleaner with a robotic arm.
