A cheaper model, Redmi 9T, will also be added to the global version of the Redmi Note 9T. Leaked first details

We recently learned about the existence of the global Redmi Note 9T model, and we already have the first information about the next model. That will be the Redmi 9T smartphone, which for its price will offer decent specs.

A new addition to the Redmi family

The Redmi 9T model was officially certified only shortly after we found out about the Redmi Note 9T model. Both smartphones are targeted at the global market, which means they should be available in our neck of the woods soon.

This new certification reveals the first information about the 9T model, which will carry the code name M2010J19SG. It’s expected to be a mid-range device, but it certainly doesn’t have to be ashamed of its specs. It should be a decent budget smartphone.

Besides the 9T model, the Note 9T model was also officially certified, targeting the European market. The official price, as well as the availability date, is still unknown. However, we can expect a price tag similar to Redmi Note 9 or POCO M3 devices.

What specs will Redmi 9T offer?

So what will the new Redmi 9T bring us? It should feature a 6.53″ IPS Full HD+ display, likely with only a 60 Hz refresh rate. In case the selfie camera is used, it will probably be the classic punch-hole in the upper-left corner, or possibly a notch.

The processor that the smartphone should be equipped with will be from Qualcomm, and it will likely be the same chipset as in the POCO M3 model. It’s the Snapdragon 662, which in performance could be compared to the MediaTek Helio G85 found in the Redmi Note 9.

The phone shouldn’t lack a battery with up to 5 000 mAh or a 48 MPx main camera sensor. How many other sensors will accompany it is still a question. Unless Xiaomi decides to release a few more of its smartphone models before the end of this year, it will likely be a wrap-up of the company’s calendar year on the mobile front.
