Xiaomi 12 will be the first device with a new TOP chipset
The upcoming flagship series Xiaomi 12 is expected to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 chipset, making it the first device powered by this processor. The latest information suggests that mass production of these phones is already in full swing.
Current rumors point to a ring-shaped camera module. However, Chinese leaker Digital Chat Station says that the placement of the cameras on the back should be different from what we thought so far.
Whether you liked the previously estimated design or not, Xiaomi still has a chance to attract with a unique look that its competitors can only envy. The information was shared on the Chinese social network Weibo.
Mass production has already been launched
Right now, it’s not known exactly what the upcoming novelties will look like, but mass production is already underway. So you can look forward to an early debut of the flagship model lineup with a new chipset from the American tech giant Qualcomm.
It’s expected that the start of sales for the home Chinese market could happen either at the end of this year 2021, or in January next year.
The model designations of both smartphones are expected to be 2201122C and 2203121C, which means they will belong to the Xiaomi 12 series. We should also mention that the devices recently went through EEC certification, indicating availability in the European market as well.

The edition labeled 2112123AC has received several certifications in China. We assume it will be the Xiaomi 12 Mini model.
