Even after 12 years, Xiaomi 4S Ultra is supposed to keep running as fast as when it was new. Thanks to this new technology

Just two days remain until tech enthusiasts around the world can get their hands on the new Xiaomi 12S smartphone lineup. The expected family will consist of three siblings altogether: the base Xiaomi 12S, the more advanced Xiaomi 12S Pro, and of course the most overpowered flagship Xiaomi 12S Ultra.

We’ve already published quite a lot of articles about this premium smartphone on our website. From them, it’s crystal clear that it will be a proper powerhouse packed with the most modern tech gadgets. Today’s article only confirms those claims.

A lifetime without compromise

Those who are loyal fans of smartphones with the Android operating system have definitely experienced firsthand how quickly system speed and responsiveness can degrade. In some cases of heavy storage overload, it was even necessary to restore to factory settings.

The Chinese giant decided to take the not-so-flattering situation into its own hands and, together with leading storage manufacturers, brings the world a new technology FBO that runs on the latest UFS (Universal Flash Storage) 4.0 storage type.

The words might sound nice, but the more important thing is real-world experience in everyday life. Xiaomi’s internal tests reveal that thanks to the new technology and the storage type, the Xiaomi 12S Ultra will be just as fast even after 4 years as on day one of use.

Classic storage without FBO technology after four years of use reduced transfer speeds by more than 20%, while with FBO technology, the speed degradation is not even one percent. Big praise for Xiaomi.

This is also clear proof that the manufacturer cares about a high-quality user experience with its products. Only a few hours remain until the launch, and we’re already very excited about what else the brand will surprise us with.

We’ll continue to closely monitor the entire situation and then publish all updates on our technology portal Xiaomi Planet.
