Our favorite Chinese tech giant Xiaomi is getting ready for the next generation of its T-series smartphones, with the Xiaomi 14T Pro model leading the way. It will impress with solid performance as well as fast charging.
Xiaomi 14T Pro: Also developed under the name Redmi K70 Ultra
As we already know from previous years, the T-series usually arrives in the second half of the year, and more or less builds on a global version of some Chinese device. And the upcoming Xiaomi 14T Pro should be based on the Chinese version of the Redmi K70 Ultra.
Everything suggests that the 14T Pro will be an upgrade compared to the current 13T Pro. The main improvements should involve the processor used, as well as the battery.
1,5 TCL OLED display, plus 120 W fast charging
As reported by the Gizmochina.com site, Redmi K70 Ultra, and therefore also Xiaomi 14T Pro, should come with an OLED panel C8 from TCL. It should offer a resolution of up to 1.5K, which is the logical next step alongside the current generation.
Both of the mentioned smartphones should be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset. This next-gen processor will deliver great performance for everyday use as well as mobile gaming.
The leaks were also confirmed by the well-known blogger Digital Chat Station. He also added that Xiaomi 14T Pro will feature a 5500 mAh battery, backed by up to 120 W ultra-fast charging. The device should also have a metal frame and a back made of tempered glass.
From the other specs, we can mention up to 24 GB of RAM of the LPDDR5X type, as well as a rich, fast internal storage in the form of UFS 4.0 with a capacity of up to 1 TB. For now, however, these reports only relate to the Chinese version—similar to the info about the main camera. It should offer a 50 MPx resolution, and it should also be accompanied by an ultra-wide-angle and macro sensor.
It’s also worth mentioning that Xiaomi has not officially confirmed work on Redmi K70 Ultra or Xiaomi 14T Pro. More information about the release date or the estimated selling price should be revealed in the coming days to weeks.
