The Chinese brand Xiaomi is expanding its laptop lineup with the new Xiaomi Book Pro 14 model, which brings the latest generation of Intel Panther Lake processors. It’s an ultra-thin notebook focused on performance, creativity, and modern AI tasks. According to the manufacturer, it can deliver performance that until recently was associated more with thicker, more powerful workstation-class devices.
The largest Xiaomi community in Slovakia
The new model is equipped with the Intel Core Ultra X7 358H processor, one of the most powerful chips in this generation. Xiaomi also claims that the integrated Intel Arc graphics can deliver performance close to lower-tier dedicated graphics cards—meaning much better options for gaming, video creation, and demanding graphic work.

Powerful Xiaomi Book Pro 14 laptop with new Intel chips
The new Xiaomi Book Pro 14 ranks among ultra-thin laptops, yet despite the compact body it delivers surprisingly high performance. Xiaomi claims the laptop can reach up to 50 W of CPU power even without being connected to power, which is a very solid figure for a device in this category.
The graphics side is also interesting. Integrated Intel Arc B390 graphics, according to the manufacturer, should compete with e.g. AMD Radeon 890M, and in some scenarios it comes close to the performance of notebook graphics NVIDIA RTX 4050. Xiaomi even states the laptop can run modern AAA games at over 60 FPS, which is very impressive for an ultra-thin laptop.
AI performance and faster data processing
Xiaomi also focuses heavily on AI features in this model. According to internal tests by Xiaomi Labs, the laptop can process AI models with 8 billion parameters up to 105% faster than the previous generation. That means faster text generation, data analysis, or image processing directly on the device.
Performance also shows up when working with video. Xiaomi says that processing 4K video using AI tools can be up to 45% faster than on older-generation laptops. Content creators who work with demanding video projects or graphic applications will especially appreciate it.
Modern cooling system with a large vapor chamber
To keep the laptop delivering stable performance even under long workloads, Xiaomi uses a fairly robust cooling system. Inside there’s a large 10000 mm² vapor chamber module, working together with two fans and a triple air-flow design.
Such a solution should ensure a stable CPU temperature even for demanding tasks like video rendering or gaming. Xiaomi also promises high airflow with relatively low noise, which is very important for thin laptops.
Benchmarks point to high performance
The first benchmarks shared on Chinese social networks suggest very strong performance. In a Cinebench R24 test, the laptop reached about 124 points in single-core and 1103 points in multi-core. These results match a powerful Intel Core Ultra X7 358H processor.
And the benchmark tests also turned out very solid. The laptop scored around 3 points in 7163DMark Time Spy and roughly 6872 points in Fire Strike Extreme. In practice, that means the laptop should handle not only office work, but also more demanding apps and games.
Port selection and practical design
The Xiaomi Book Pro 14 offers fairly good connectivity for its size. On the laptop’s body you’ll find an HDMI port, a standard 3.5 mm audio jack, one USB-A port, and a pair of USB-C ports, with one of them supporting Thunderbolt technology.
That means you can easily connect the laptop to monitors, external drives, or docking stations. Xiaomi hasn’t shared the final device price yet, but it’s expected to launch first in the Chinese market and later on global markets.
