The popular service Xiaomi Cloud from the Chinese company Xiaomi, which is used for virtual storage and synchronization of content, has been updated and now features a new, modern design.
Xiaomi Cloud: The change in design feels more modern
Personal virtual storage from Xiaomi has undergone a major change in its user interface. The so-called “desktop” version, i.e., the version designed for desktop computers, now looks much more modern and adapts its elements to the design of the current mobile graphical overlay labeled MIUI 13.
After a few years with practically no changes, the user interface of the Xiaomi Cloud is now a bit clearer and easier to use. At the same time, it still includes all the popular features like in the older versions. For example, it offers remote localization of your Xiaomi, Redmi or POCO device, along with the associated security features.
Simpler yet minimalist user interface
As you can see in the images below, Xiaomi Cloud, in its new outfit, is recognizable at first glance after you sign in. The interface design is now simpler, and its minimalist processing is done in lighter color tones. In addition, the new graphics make using the service itself and accessing individual functions easier and faster.
As soon as you enter your account at i.mi.com via your username and password (use your Xiaomi account), you’ll see icons for the different options offered by Xiaomi Cloud. These match the icons in the mobile version of MIUI 13, which is great for remembering them.
From your account settings, you now have access to a larger amount of information. Plus, it’s practically visualized using graphical elements. Of course, the individual functions still keep their original look and the placement of the control elements. For example, the well-known option for localizing your smartphone looks exactly the same and still offers the ability to delete or lock the device remotely.
