The company Xiaomi is a leading smartphone manufacturer and also holds top positions in their sales figures. But that isn’t the end of it — this popular Chinese manufacturer offers a truly wide range of smart home products, gadgets, accessories, vehicles, and many more.

Already 6000 brick-and-mortar stores

Xiaomi currently operates almost 6000 brick-and-mortar stores, where it also showcases its products and ranks among the top in the brand list, with representation across physical stores.

The new development was confirmed by Lu Weibing, currently CEO of the Redmi brand, as part of an assessment of the company’s achievements and revenues over the past year. He also said that in 2020 we can look forward to many more branches. However, he didn’t give the exact number.

There’s no doubt that Xiaomi has become a well-known name in the tech world, and you can find this brand’s physical stores in a fairly large number of major cities worldwide. We from the editorial team also took a look at one such brick-and-mortar store, during a business trip to China.

The magical number of 6000 stores will truly become a reality on 28. 12., when the manufacturer launches almost another hundred shops and thus surpasses the set threshold.

Physical stores also in Slovakia and the Czech Republic

Lu Weibing further explains that the manufacturer wants to expand into other parts of the world next year as well. The goal is to bring products to an ever-growing number of customers, in more countries and regions.

Thanks to this strategy, the manufacturer has also committed to this successful business model, which lets potential customers see and try the product before buying it.

After its Western European debut in Spain (the first Mi Store at the end of year 2017), Xiaomi already has more than 100 official stores across Europe.

For example in Andorra, the Czech Republic, Ukraine — and even Norway, France, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Slovakia, Latvia, Poland, Portugal, the United Kingdom, Romania, Austria, Croatia, or Serbia.

The good news is that there are also branches in many other Latin American countries. We’re curious when another new official Mi Store shop will also appear in Slovakia. At the moment, there are three here, two in Bratislava and one in the north in Žilina.
