In a recent article, we shared early leaks about the specs of the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro+. This model is expected to rank among the most premium devices, and its feature set should even outdo today’s flagship models like the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro.
Packed specs
Verified leaker Digital Chat Station has again revealed the specifications that the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro+ model should come with. You can look forward to a great device from every angle. According to the new information, we should see the new Xiaomi smartphone already this year—specifically in August.
As they would say back home in mainland China, this will be a “Xiaomi Super Large Cup”.
The term Xiaomi Super Large Cup is meant to capture the flagship specs of the smartphone. For example, drinks in McDonald’s restaurants are categorized by size into small, medium, and large, while in Asia there’s also the Super Large size.
The front panel should be revolutionary for the Chinese giant. That it will be an AMOLED display is probably obvious to everyone, but what’s interesting is its refresh rate. It should reach at least 120 Hz.
In terms of performance, the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro+ should be powered by a Qualcomm processor—Snapdragon 865 or an upgraded version, Snapdragon 865+. Either way, performance won’t be an issue.
Previous leaks also said that on the back the smartphone should offer a quad-camera setup, with the main sensor having a resolution of 108 MPx, and it should also support up to 12x optical zoom.
The battery in the smartphone is apparently set to support ultra-fast 65 W charging, while wireless charging should support 40 W. With both of these specs, we’re talking about pretty big improvements over the previous models.
That’s all we have for now based on the available information. From what we know, the new smartphone will be a truly top-notch piece in every area from the manufacturer. Now we just have to wait until August, when we should find out much more.
