The Xiaomi Mi 11 does not include a charger in the box
From a competitor’s point of view, it may seem like financial reasons. But the reality is different. If you want, you can also choose a package with a charger for the same price as the package without the adapter.
Xiaomi also thinks about the environment, but many users already have fast chargers at home and don’t need a new adapter. The advantage is the option to choose.
“When it comes to environmental protection, the standard version of the Mi 11 model for mainland China will no longer come with a charger in the box, while the extended version will be supplied with a separate 55W GaN charger. Is Xiaomi copying Apple?!
A decision that seemed to have been made at the last minute due to controversy makes us see the big difference between Xiaomi and Apple.
In the case of the Chinese manufacturer, it is up to the customer to decide between stopping excessive plastic consumption (buying the Mi 11 model without a charger) or choosing the aforementioned extended package with a charger.
Apple takes a completely different approach to this issue, mainly from a financial point of view. It does not offer customers the choice of a package with a charger at the same price, and anyone who wants one has to buy the charger separately for a hefty sum.
What will it be like for the global version?
In a few weeks, the smartphone will also be introduced to the global market. But we’re curious whether the Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi will offer us the same choice as in the Chinese version. There is still also the possibility that the global version will only have one package to choose from.
