In just a few days, specifically on September 24 / září, Xiaomi will bring new developments in the 5G portfolio, including an upgraded flagship smartphone Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G. It will feature an updated Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ processor, dedicated liquid cooling, and other improvements.
Flagship hardware and 5G
Liquid cooling (VC Liquid Cooling) was developed specifically for this model, and its goal is to reduce the CPU temperature under high performance by up to 10,2 degrees. Triple-level protection against overheating includes a 5-times layer of graphite material, a copper coil, and a thermal gel.
Other upgrades will include a new haptic motor for intense vibration with a response time of just 10 ms. It should feel closer to mechanical keyboards and deliver a professional 4D gaming experience when playing on mobile.
The smartphone equipment will also include very fast 40 W wired charging (0-100% in just 48 minutes) and 30 W wireless charging (charging a 4000 mAh battery to 50% in 25 minutes, to 100% in under 70 minutes). In addition, there will also be 10 W reverse charging, for accessories such as headphones, electric toothbrushes, or smartwatches.

Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G will include, according to TENAA certification, a large 6,39″ Super AMOLED display, along with a combo of up to 12 GB RAM and up to 512 GB of internal storage. Along with the launch of this smartphone, the Mi MIX 5G model, the premium Mi TV, and the new MIUI 11 system are also expected to arrive—one that the smartphone should have right from the factory.
