If you’re among the active readers of our tech portal, you’ve definitely registered the device Xiaomi Mi Box. It’s a handy gadget that turns any “stupid” TV into a smart multimedia center in no time.
At the beginning of the year, we wrote about the arrival of an update to Android 9 for the more advanced Mi Box S in this article. The S model also has its predecessor, which only got its update quite recently. The update to the latest OS also reached our editorial office.
Many improvements
The 620 MB Android 9 update codenamed R2810 brings a lot of new features. You can look forward to new animations, improved speed and stability across the entire system, as well as native support for Amazon Prime.
We also received the update in our editorial office. The arrival of the new operating system really delighted us, and we especially appreciate the more nicely and logically organized menu, as well as the higher speed of the whole environment.
You can also clearly see in this example how the manufacturer takes exemplary care of its devices and brings the latest features even to older generations. If you own a Xiaomi Mi Box too and you still haven’t received the update, you should get it within the next few days.
If you’ve ever been considering buying a similar box, don’t hesitate. With this device, you’ll breathe new life into an old TV with outdated functions and turn it into a place for entertainment and relaxation. All you need is an HDMI input on your TV.
