Around mid-2020, Xiaomi introduced the popular laptop Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro 15 2020 to the world. At the big March conference, the successor was unveiled in the form of Xiaomi Mi Laptop Pro 15 for 2021.
This year, Xiaomi didn’t leave anything to chance—and we have to say the specs are truly impressive. Even this laptop received an Intel Evo certification, which is, in itself, a guarantee of genuinely high quality.

Top-tier specs
Mi Laptop Pro 15 comes in an elegant aluminum body that stands out for its premium feel and minimalist design. Even at first glance, it’s clear where the inspiration came from—but that doesn’t change the fact that the laptop looks absolutely great.
The Xiaomi Mi Laptop Pro 15 features a display with a 15″ diagonal. However, it isn’t a standard panel. This display is made using OLED technology and offers a resolution of 3.5K. It also includes a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, 261 PPI sharpness, a light sensor, brightness up to 600 nits, and a contrast ratio of 1 000 000:1.
Intel Evo certification
A major upgrade over the previous generation is also the Intel Evo certification. Intel Evo is a kind of quality standard that the device must meet to have this certification. The minimum requirements for this certification are fairly high, so you don’t need to doubt the quality of this laptop.
Xiaomi has introduced the new Mi Laptop Pro 15 with processors Intel Core i5 and i7 of the 11th generation. These processors deliver high performance in every direction, but for more demanding graphic tasks you’ll find 2 GB of dedicated graphics with the NVIDIA GeForce MX450.
This notebook is coming to the market with 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB fast SSD storage. For the fastest loading of online content, the latest technology Wi-Fi 6 is available with Dual Band support (2.4 / 5 GHz).
As for the ports, the new Mi Laptop Pro 15 offers a 3-times USB Type-C input, with one of them supporting the Thunderbolt technology, 4 , and the other a 3.5 mm jack. The battery has a capacity of 66 Wh and a maximum charging power of 100 W.
Two dual speakers with a power of 2 W take care of the audio output quality. The laptop’s camera features a 720p resolution, which is more than enough for everyday conference calls. Bluetooth here is the latest version 5.2
Xiaomi Mi Laptop Pro 14
Xiaomi also introduced the 14″ model alongside the 15″ version. It has mostly the same specs, but you will still find a few differences. One of the most important is definitely the display.
The Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro 14 offers a 14″ IPS display with a resolution of 2K and an increased refresh rate. The laptop supports 60 Hz, 90 Hz, or up to a great 120 Hz. Together with powerful 11th-generation processors, the user experience will be at a very high level.
You can then find the last small differences in the battery and Bluetooth technology. The laptop battery has a capacity of 56 Wh, and Bluetooth is in version 5.1. Both laptops also feature a fingerprint reader in the power button.
