Xiaomi, according to the latest information, is doing an excellent job in the field of manufacturing smart TVs. For the first quarter of the year 2020, it ranks among the top four best Smart TV producers worldwide, while in its home country, China, it takes first place.
Just like Xiaomi does in the smartphone segment, in the TV area it has a unique mission: to bring you the most for the lowest, competitive price possible.
The new Xiaomi Smart TV is again priced amazingly
The manufacturer is bringing a brand-new Mi TV model to the market with a 43-inch screen diagonal. It’s called Xiaomi Mi TV E43K. The product will be available for 1099 yuan, which is roughly 140 € / 155 USD.
With this downright crazy price, it may well be the cheapest 43-inch smart TV on the market.
The company currently has three 43-inch TVs in its portfolio: E43X, E43C, and E43A. All devices cost 169 $, which is about 155 €.
The new model is cheaper by 100 yuan, thanks to the absence of a Bluetooth module. That means the TV is controlled via a classic infrared remote.
Specs you shouldn’t be ashamed of in a smart TV
The mentioned 43-inch display is paired with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. The panel has a standard 60 Hz refresh rate and a 178° viewing angle.
The product has almost no bezels, which the ad image suggests, but on it—by chance—there is a depiction of Štrbské pleso, which can really pleasantly surprise us Slovaks above all.
Xiaomi TV features a 64-bit dual-core processor with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB of built-in storage. The TV supports wireless screen casting, DTS decoding, and has a built-in AI-powered TV system called PatchWall.
It not only offers lots of media content, but it can also connect and display other devices in a smart home.
From the basic data port lineup you’ll find 2x USB, 1x RJ-45 and 2x HMDI. Of course, there’s also Wi-Fi connectivity and support for casting not only wirelessly, but also via the aforementioned classic HDMI cable.
So the display can be connected to a PC, gaming consoles, audio devices, and various other devices.
