Xiaomi is definitely not new to the laser projector segment. It already has several successful models under its belt, and this year it comes with an upgraded version, the Xiaomi Mijia Laser Projector 1S, featuring great brightness and 4K resolution.
The latest coupon in the Czech warehouse
The international seller Banggood is probably the only one offering premium Xiaomi projectors—right at sale prices.
This is also the case with the Mijia Laser Projector 1S model, which is now available at a great price directly in the Czech warehouse with express delivery. The big advantage is delivery in 7 days and no extra fees.
The projector is sold in the Chinese version, which includes the MIUI TV system in Chinese and English. You can install apps like YouTube or Netflix, but the most convenient use is with the connected Mi Box S or the new Mi TV Stick 4K.
We recommend: Since this is a Chinese version of the product, you’ll need an adapter to connect it to our outlets. We recommend buying this high-quality adapter, which can handle high power and current draw and is really safe.

Detailed video review:
Familiar design
Xiaomi Mijia Laser Projector 1S is manufactured in an elegant black color and is based on the previous model. The design is classic and minimalist, but it certainly doesn’t disappoint.
The new Xiaomi model measures 410 x 291 x 88 mm and weighs 7 kg. So it won’t take up much space and will perfectly do its job.
The hardware hasn’t changed
Under the hood of the upgraded model, you’ll find very similar hardware as in the previous version. The T968-H processor can handle up to 4K resolution. It also comes with HDR10 certification.
A 2 GB RAM memory module of type DDR3 takes care of multitasking. 16 GB eMMC memory serves as storage.
Cooling is handled by a heatsink with three fans. Cooling is monitored intelligently in real time. It turns on automatically based on the device temperature, so it stays as quiet as possible.
Wide-screen image
Xiaomi Mijia Laser Projector 1S can project an image size from 80“ to 150“, and it can do so at a very short distance. If 80“ is enough for you, the projection distance from the screen must be 14 cm.
If you want to use up to a 150“ image, the projection distance must be 49 cm. Thanks to these parameters, the projector is suitable for living rooms, because it doesn’t need much space—you can basically place it right by the wall.
The projector features up to 2000 ANSI lumens brightness. This is exactly the parameter that was improved in the 1S model compared to its predecessor. The previous one offered 1500 ANSI lumens.
In practice, this means that in a typical home setting or a venue, you don’t have to dim the surrounding light—you should be able to see the image without any problems.
So it’s up to 30% brighter than its predecessor, and it comes with the laser projection technology ALPD 3.0. The manufacturer states the light source lifespan is 25 000 hours.
High-quality sound
The Xiaomi Mijia 1S projector comes with up to 4 speakers. 2 speakers are full-range and 2 are high-frequency. Together, they deliver a great audio experience.
The projector’s sound system is compatible with Dolby Audio and DTS-HD. So you can easily create a home-cinema atmosphere.
Connectivity options and system
The projector is also equipped with up to 3x HDMI inputs. One is HDMI ARC and two are standard HDMI ports. You’ll also find 1x USB 3.0, Audio Output, AV Input, S/PDIF for high-quality sound, and Ethernet for connecting to the network.
The projector runs on the Patchwall system, a user interface designed directly by Xiaomi. Based on Android TV, you can also find it on Xiaomi TVs.
