Very fast expansion will be key for Xiaomi in 2019 as well. The manufacturer’s concept of a purely internet-based company has gradually changed over time, and only last year it opened 100 new brick-and-mortar stores worldwide. It also doesn’t forget Europe, and these days it’s opening the very biggest Mi Home store in Europe.

“Eiffel-tower” city

Europe’s biggest Mi Home physical store was officially opened in Paris on Champs-Elysees. The official opening was attended by Xiang Wang, Senior Vice President at Xiaomi. And, of course, there were long lines of people eagerly waiting for their first visit to the huge European Xiaomi store.

In Paris, this is already the second Mi Home Store. In that flagship location, customers can find not only smartphones, but also smartwatches, smart TVs, projectors, headphones, smart-home gadgets, and plenty more.

For the opening, Xiaomi also prepared introductory discounts. Customers could buy the Mi Max 3 smartphone for 220 €, the Pocophone F1 was available for 320 €, and the flagship model Mi 8 cost 430 €.
