Xiaomi Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro will be next great tablets from our favorite manufacturer. In China, some specifications leaked, so let’s take a closer look together at what we can expect from these upcoming releases.
Mid-range chipsets and fast charging
Xiaomi Pad 7 will be equipped with a chip according to available information Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3. A better-equipped “Pro” model will also offer Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. We also know the maximum supported charging power. While Xiaomi Pad 7 will support 45 W charging, Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro will push this limit up to 67 W.
The upcoming devices will share the same 11.16-inch displays. They’ll use LCD panels supporting a high 144 Hz refresh rate. This will ensure an even smoother user experience. Since the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro offers better specs, it will remain on sale for now until it’s possibly replaced in the future by the Pad 7S Pro.
Right now, we’re not sure when we’ll get the official presentation of the new tablet series from Xiaomi. However, it’s possible it will happen alongside the unveiling of the flagship devices Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro.
