Xiaomi presents 3 new smart air conditioner models. They can simulate a breeze

Xiaomi has officially unveiled three new models for its range of smart air conditioners.

These are three models in an affordable price category, with a very interesting feature: the ability to simulate a breeze.

3 new air conditioner models

The three new air conditioners come with the labels Xiaomi Air Conditioner, Air Condtioner C and Air Conditioner X.

The naming itself may be a bit confusing; however, they mainly stand out for energy savings, i.e. using the latest technologies for low energy consumption.

Each of them is made of solid ABS plastic, which is also completely UV-resistant, so it won’t yellow over time.

In addition, the air conditioners include a small LED display, through which you can monitor the temperature and the selected mode.

Performance of the individual models

• Xiaomi Air Conditioner: 620 m3 / h
• Xiaomi Air Condtiioner C: 700 m3 / h, 20% energy saved
• Xiaomi Air Conditioner X: 620 m3 / h, 20% energy saved

The new air conditioners come in two different performance versions. While the base model will fall into conventional air conditioner units, the siblings labeled „C” and „X” rely on low energy consumption.

The manufacturer lists excellent energy savings, with a difference of up to 20% specifically for the aforementioned pair.

All three models have noise levels of 22 dB; remote control with 13 buttons is included, and there’s also Wi-Fi connectivity, along with remote control via the mobile app Mi Home.

The new feature is the internal fans, designed to ensure the smoothest possible airflow passage. Thanks to this, you can achieve a sensation that simulates a breeze even indoors.

Price and availability of the new products

As for the price and availability of the new trio of air conditioners, for now it will be sold exclusively in the domestic Chinese market.

Given the device’s size, we don’t expect it to spread quickly to Europe as well. However, we’re curious whether the Chinese manufacturer will take such a step.

The retail price varies depending on the individual version as follows:

• Xiaomi Air Conditioner from 2499 Chinese yuan, roughly €328
• Xiaomi Air Condtioner C from 2199 Chinese yuan, roughly €289
• Xiaomi Air Conditioner X from 2199 Chinese yuan, roughly €289
