Xiaomi is stepping on the gas: they’ve started preparing the arrival of the Xiaomi SU7 electric car in Europe!

The first electric car from our favorite Chinese manufacturer, Xiaomi SU7, and its arrival on the European market is getting closer. We already know the first information about global distribution.

Xiaomi SU7 and coming to Europe?

Xiaomi launched its SU7 model on the Chinese market back in 28. month 2024. And every week we come across practically new information and leaks about a possible expansion of sales beyond the home country.

And as Xiaomi Today’s source says, the Xiaomi Auto division is starting to hire an entirely new team of employees that will focus on preparing the SU7 electric car abroad. This team will operate under the supervision of Xiaomi’s international division, which is great news for everyone who’s looking forward to this piece of tech arriving on our continent.

Sales outside China are expected by 2030

In this case, Xiaomi is mainly looking for experts in managing individual projects, market research, and sales specialists, with a focus on electric vehicles. Their primary goal is currently to sell a small number of units in various regions, to gradually expand beyond Asia.

What’s also interesting is that the brand has added new locations to specific functions of its vehicle, including within its intelligent driving system, Xiaomi Pilot.

However, we’re seeing a gradual plan that the Chinese manufacturer announced earlier—that they would sell their vehicles in Europe, with a preliminary estimate by 2030. Everything suggests this target won’t be a problem, especially for a brand that has extensive experience expanding into international markets.

What we still have to do today is wait and monitor the next steps from the Chinese manufacturer—steps that until recently seemed far-fetched and unthinkable.
