As planned, Xiaomi in China has finally introduced its first OLED TV, Xiaomi TV Master. First info we also brought you in our article, as well as some parameters.
Now, however, the novelty is officially on the market. This brings absolutely the most powerful smart TV from Xiaomi that they’ve ever launched.
Xiaomi TV Master has a premium design
The Xiaomi novelty measures 1448.7 x 872.8 x 248 mm and weighs 36.7 kg. The design of the TV itself has also changed a lot. Xiaomi went for the smallest bezels possible, and they managed to do it. In combination with deep black, they’re almost invisible and the display covers up to 98.8% of the front side.
The materials used have also changed: they’re mostly metal and glass. This combination gives the TV a younger, more aesthetic look that matches the technological level of the device.
An image we haven’t seen from Xiaomi yet
The Xiaomi Mi TV Master features a 65“ OLED display with 4K resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels and a refresh rate up to 120 Hz. The TV’s viewing angle is up to 178°.
Thanks to the OLED panel, in the case of black color it can completely turn off pixels, creating absolute black with brightness of 0 nits.
Furthermore, the Xiaomi Mi TV Master comes with Dolby Vision technology, which ensures cinema-level image quality. It also supports true 10-bit color depth for sharper and more intense colors. The new model can display up to 1.07 billion colors.
High performance
Xiaomi Mi TV Master has a powerful 4-core processor from Mediatek under the hood, using cores of the type Cortex A73. It is paired with a quad-core graphics processor Mali G52 MC1. For smooth performance, you get 3 GB RAM and 32 GB of ROM for storage.
It’s also equipped with dynamic HDR, DC dimming, and VRR (variable refresh rate). The new TV includes 3 x HDMI inputs, with one being the latest HDMI 2.1. Thanks to this HDMI input, the TV can achieve throughput of up to 48 Gbps, which fully prepares it for Next-Gen gaming consoles.
This will definitely please gamers and fans of the upcoming PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X consoles. The new Mi TV Master is optimized for gaming and next-gen consoles.
There are also 2 x USB inputs, AV interface, ATV / DTMB interface, and S/PDIF for the highest-quality sound. For network connection, you can use Ethernet directly or dual-band Wi-Fi that works at 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz. Bluetooth 5.0 is, of course, also included.
Up to 9 speakers
The Xiaomi Mi TV Master comes with up to 9 speakers. They deliver spatial sound like in a movie theater.
The left and right channels provide 2 x 15 W, the surround channel 2 x 10 W, and the subwoofer up to 20 W. Total power is a great 65 W. Support for Dolby Atmos is also included.
Price and availability
This great new model is available for the price of 12 999 yuan, which is about 1633 € / 1844 USD in other currency. The price for a TV like this is really great, as it’s significantly cheaper than the competition.
However, the less positive part is its availability. At the moment, the Xiaomi Mi TV Master is available only in Mainland China, and it will probably stay that way unless Xiaomi decides to officially import and sell it in foreign markets.
