Xiaomi updates its Xiaomi Home app and adds new, perfect features

Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi brings a new update for its Xiaomi Home mobile app. It brings new, great features for your smart home connected products.

New features in the popular Xiaomi Home app

The app Xiaomi Home, also known as the Mi Home, platform, has reached its seventh generation. In the new update, it introduces an important change to managing your smart home compared to the features it offered so far.

The seventh version comes with a new control center called „Whole House Control Center.“ This center is a completely new section of the app that lets us easily and quickly control all smart products in your smart home.

So far only in beta version, for MIUI users 12.5

As MIUIes says, this new control center lets you monitor your home and smart devices in real time, and also makes it easier to enable selected features, including controlling individual light scenes.

The center will offer direct access to the controls of products you use at home all the time. Whether it’s lights, curtains, or speakers. In addition, in a quick preview, the mobile app will also show the current temperature or humidity information for each of your rooms.

All the mentioned features are part of the app version labeled V7.0.500, and it’s still in beta for now. Its stable version is definitely already in the works, but we need to warn you that the features will be available only to Xiaomi, Redmi, or POCO device users with MIUI 12.5.
