Company Xiaomi officially unveiled its new induction cooktop. It features two heating zones, power up to 2200W, and a practical LED display.
It has two heating zones and 100 temperature levels
The Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi surprised us again with an official presentation of several new products at once. Among them is also a new practical home gadget in the form of an induction cooking cooktop. Its dimensions are 100 x 632 x 313 millimeters.
The new model will come with two heating zones, as well as a dual-zone control system with precise independent temperature control, with a choice of up to 100 levels.
Power up to 2200W, LED display and touch buttons
As is traditional, Xiaomi went for a minimalist design approach; this time in light color tones. The power of this induction cooking cooktop is 2200W, so you definitely don’t need to be embarrassed about it.
The new induction cooking cooktop includes a practical attachment and a lid, and it offers a 63 cm long surface for placing various types of pots, pans, or bowls. The temperature regulation is controlled by four touch buttons, which are also complemented by a small LED display and a pair of physical buttons.
In addition to the redesigned temperature control system, there’s also an operation timer that you’ll appreciate especially in time-consuming recipes. On the other hand, for quick meals, there are also several very fast heating functions available.
The induction cooktop is ready to use not only at home, but also at a cottage or in places that aren’t equipped with a fully-fledged kitchen counter with appliances. It’s suitable for preparing a variety of recipes—from pasta, meat, and fish to soups and selected types of desserts.
Price and availability of the induction cooktop
The new model from Xiaomi has a starting sale price of just 899 Chinese yuan. That comes to approximately 113 € / 137 USD. at the current exchange rate.
Sales of the new induction cooktop began on 12. December 2020 on the domestic Chinese market with local retailers. However, it’s very likely that sales of this product will soon also kick off on popular international retailers such as Aliexpress.com.
