Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro shows off its performance in the well-known Geekbench test even before the official unveiling

In recent days, more and more articles are appearing on our tech portal Xiaomi Planet, all related to the upcoming grand unveiling that will take place on April 18, 2023. Its debut is expected to be shared by the Xiaomi 13 Ultra smartphone, Xiaomi Smart Band 8, and also—by order—the sixth series of Xiaomi Pad tablets.

Based on the latest information, the Xiaomi Pad 6 lineup will most likely consist of two models: the basic Pad 6 and a more premium sibling, the Pad 6 Pro. The latest leak revealed the Geekbench benchmark result for the 6 Pro model.

There’s really nothing to be ashamed of with the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro

As we mentioned only recently, a Geekbench benchmark result for the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro appeared online. According to everything so far, this tablet will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1—a chip that’s considered almost at the very top of the performance ladder.

Of course, the flagship chip implementation also showed in the performance results. In the single-core test, the tablet with model number 23046RP50C scored 1712 points , and in the multi-core test it even reached 4348 points.

That’s a very solid result, with no doubt handled by the processor with a max boost clock of up to 3.19 GHz, along with 12 GB of RAM. On the graphics side, the tablet uses the Adreno 730 graphics accelerator.

As for the rest of the specs, you really can’t complain about this tablet. The front will be covered by an 11″ AMOLED panel with 2.8K resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate—you’ll definitely enjoy looking at it. Charging will also be very fast thanks to up to 67 W power.

The official unveiling of not only the new tablets, but also the Xiaomi Smart Band 8 watch and the Xiaomi 13 Ultra smartphone will take place on April 18, 2023 in mainland China at 13:00 local time.
