Xiaomi and POCO have officially confirmed Android 11 support for the first smartphones

In a recent article we informed you about Android 11 support for a number of Xiaomi, Redmi, POCO and Black Shark devices. Even though we expect these models to receive the latest Android, nothing has been officially confirmed so far.

Now Xiaomi and POCO have officially confirmed the availability of the Android 11 OS for their devices via their Twitter accounts. Which models are we talking about?

Flagships have priority

The Chinese giant Xiaomi, on the Twitter profile of its popular MIUI overlay, confirmed that this year’s flagships Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro will be included in the Android 11 beta program. POCO didn’t waste any time either and also added.

It’s only natural that the first devices for which it’s officially announced that they support the latest Android will be the flagships. Since, for now, these are the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro models, owners of these smartphones can soon look forward to the released early beta.

After a short while, POCO also published a similar post, saying that the latest model from the company POCO F2 Pro will also get Android 11 OS support.

Since the successor to POCO F1 is only a rebranded Redmi K30 Pro model, we expect this smartphone to receive Android 11 at the same time. We currently don’t have official news for other Xiaomi, Redmi, or POCO models.

In addition, OPPO has also announced support for the eleventh version of the green robot OS for its Find X2 and Find X2 Pro smartphones. Other manufacturers are still silent for now about availability.
