February 25, 2021 will be a fairly significant day for the tech world. Besides the launch of the long-awaited flagship smartphone series called Redmi K40, we’ll also get a look at the new RedmiBook Pro lineup.
We’ve already written about the RedmiBook Pro laptops in several previous articles. Most recently, the CEO of Redmi, Lu Weibing, revealed the complete design, which looks very similar to an American competitor.
Official design of RedmiBook Pro
On the poster below, you can check out what the devices from this laptop series will look like in the final version. The manufacturer has clearly taken inspiration from Apple to a large extent, but we don’t see that as negative—on the contrary.
The poster shows a laptop with a metal build and a display with beautiful thin bezels. A fairly large and spacious touchpad will also please users, though some will be disappointed by the lack of a numeric keypad.
The equipment is supposed to be premium too
It’s also rumored that the photo shows the 14″ version, while the 15″ model will already come with a numeric block. The laptops will hit the market in silver, but a gray variant isn’t out of the question either.
But these are just speculations, and we’ll have to wait for the official announcement to confirm or debunk them. Still, we already know that Redmi will launch two models: RedmiBook Pro 15 and RedmiBook Pro 15S.
One of the biggest differences will be the processors used. Pro 15 devices will be powered by high-performance processors Intel Core i5-11300H and i7-11370H, while the Pro 15S will feature the chipsets AMD Ryzen 5 5600H and Ryzen 7 5800H.
The laptop specs look genuinely great, and we’re already looking forward to the launch. We’ll keep an eye on everything and post all updates on our website and in the Facebook group.
