The first photos that appeared online show the first reported traffic accident involving the new Xiaomi SU7 electric car. According to these shots, a collision occurred between the SU7 model and a white sedan of the Mercedes-Benz brand, probably from the C series.
As you can see, both vehicles are heavily damaged. Mercedes-Benz suffered damage to the right headlight, a deformed hood, the front bumper, as well as the air intake grille in the front area.
The Xiaomi SU7 took the main impact on the right side. That’s why it has a damaged pair of doors (passenger side and rear door), as well as the corresponding airbags deployed on this side.

A well-known blogger from Chinese social media, identified as „Big Lizi Qiqili“, shared a post in which he admitted that the Xiaomi SU7 electric car belonged to him. He also posted that his colleague was filming content when the accident happened. He added that both vehicles had a green light at the intersections, and that the footage was then handed over to the traffic police.
After some time, following the accident, the blogger also offered up-to-date information about the condition of his vehicle. He said that an emergency call was made from the car immediately to confirm the situation. The airbags were activated in time, and it doesn’t seem that any interior accessories were damaged or fell out.
In addition, the rear touch panels remained untouched; even the door handles worked normally, and the doors themselves could be opened without any issues.
Information was also shared that the Xiaomi SU7 vehicle was taken to a warranty service center for repairs. Fortunately, the driver and the other accident participant only suffered minor injuries. At the end of his post, the Chinese blogger reminded all his followers to prioritize safety while driving.
