Four water zones instead of one shower head

The set has four separate outlets from which the water flows: the overhead rain shower head, nozzles for your back and waist, a height-adjustable hand shower, and a pressure shower pistol with a silicone brush. They switch using buttons on the shelf, so you don’t have to blindly rummage around with the rod.

The hand shower has three modes — pulse for massage, spray for gentle rinsing, and rain that mimics a normal shower. The holder can be adjusted in height (unlocked by pressing) and tilted forward and backward, so you can aim the water jet even without holding the shower in your hand.

The pistol with a brush is more interesting than it sounds: the silicone bristles help wash your hair and scrub your feet, but you can also use it to clean the drain, the edge of the bathtub, or dishes that don’t fit in the sink.

A hidden waterfall outlet also flows out from the bottom of the shelf, so you can fill the bathtub or a bucket with it. The manufacturer bends it inward so you don’t catch your foot on it when walking, and the flow can be adjusted forward or backward.

Back nozzles point exactly where you angle them

Inside the vertical rod there are four nozzles aimed at your back and hips. They aren’t fixed — you can rotate each one by 360°, so you set the water to the spot that hurts after a day at your desk. It’s as close to a wellness shower as you can get in a regular bathroom without any installation changes.

The hose is made of PVC with an anti-tangle treatment, meaning the type that won’t start twisting into loops by itself after half a year. The rod is an aluminum alloy — and the aluminum shell and the tube inside are also aluminum. The water distribution inside the faucet body is brass — the seller lists it in the name as “all-copper”, and the manufacturer’s technical sheet states brass.

The set thinks about hard water twice over. In both connection elbows, besides a one-way backflow preventer (it prevents mixing hot and cold water, so the temperature won’t jump), there’s also a mesh filter that catches rust and pipe debris. The nozzles on the overhead shower head and the hand shower are made of silicone — limescale doesn’t stick permanently; just run your finger over them and it peels off. But don’t expect miracles: the filter is a mesh for mechanical impurities; it doesn’t soften water.

The display shows the temperature before you get under the water

On the shelf there’s a digital display with the current water temperature. Below 40 °C it lights up blue, above 40 °C it turns red, so you can tell whether the water is suitable for a child even without reading the numbers. For a bathroom where more people use it and it changes hands, this is one of those little features you use every day. You never install the battery in it — the display takes its power directly from the water flow.

The shelf itself is 420 mm wide and covered with tempered glass — shampoos and bottles actually stay on it, and you can wipe the surface clean with one cloth. The body of the set combines stainless steel, tempered glass and ABS, and flow is controlled by a ceramic cartridge.

Standard or TOP: what’s the difference

The seller doesn’t mention this on the page, so we’ll keep an eye on it for you. The cheaper Standard edition is model 823021 and doesn’t have the top rain showerhead — the whole set measures 695 mm and includes the shelf, the bar with nozzles, the hand shower and the gun.

The more expensive TOP edition is model 823019, and it adds a 300 mm rain showerhead on an arm, the total height goes up to 1 108 mm, and the arm sticks out 457 mm from the wall. The shelf is the same in both cases — 420 mm wide, 142 mm deep, with a 58 mm thick panel.

The head hangs on a ball joint, so you can swivel it left and right — you can direct the stream sideways and rinse off without getting your hair wet. The horizontal arm, however, is fixed: it’s a single piece mounted onto the vertical bar through a rigid brace, so only the direction of the stream changes, not the spot where the head hangs. The manufacturer doesn’t specify the exact range in degrees.

The price difference between the editions is small, so if you don’t have a low ceiling or already have a top showerhead installed in your bathroom, the TOP edition makes sense.

Before ordering, though, check the installation numbers, because they decide whether you can actually mount the set:

• 150 mm outlet spacing, tolerance 140 to 160 mm.
• Outlet center 100 to 110 cm above the floor (the recommended standard is 100 cm).
• The outlets may protrude above the plaster by at most 10 mm or be recessed by at most 15 mm. For deeper recesses (15 to 28 mm), use the extended 22 mm thread instead of the standard 35 mm thread.
• Leave at least 21 cm of free space to the left of the outlets and 12 cm to the right — otherwise the shelf won’t fit.
• There must be at least 120 cm from the outlets to the ceiling, otherwise the vertical bar can’t be installed.

You can install it yourself too: in the box, besides the body, the bar with nozzles, the head, the hand shower and the gun, there’s also a spirit level, a set of angled connecting elbows, and two PVC hoses measuring 1.2 and 1.5 m.

It’s not some garage manufacturer — HIGOLD Group was founded in 2004, and in July 2025 it entered the main market of the stock exchange in Shenzhen. The brand also sells its bathroom sets directly via Xiaomi Youpin. It hasn’t officially made it into European stores, but the quality of workmanship won’t fall behind among typical bathroom product lines.
