The Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi is preparing a new version of its graphics overlay for the operating system, labeled MIUI 13. New leaks of information also reveal the design of this environment.
MIUI 13: This is the design of the upcoming environment
It seems the new MIUI 13 update is already almost ready and will reach users in the very near future. After a long rollout of the MIUI 12.5 update, new clues about the next, upcoming version are now coming in.
New information appeared via the Chinese social network Weibo. The MIUI 13 premiere should take place as early as next month, during November 2021. The update should include a lot of new features that we already saw in reports about various closed beta versions.
After the MIUI 12.5 or MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition updates, the Chinese manufacturer will finally bring the full-fledged thirteenth generation of the MIUI overlay—though besides aesthetic changes, it should also include various bug fixes.
News within the MIUI 13 overlay
Over the last few weeks, the company has already revealed certain improvements that are likely to appear in the global ROM MIUI 13. Among them is an expanded RAM memory via fast internal storage, which will undoubtedly help especially under heavy smartphone load.
A minimalist design will also be included—so a theme that corresponds to, or closely approaches, the Android OS version 12. We can also look forward to various types of iOS-style widgets, making the experience on the home screens a bit more convenient.
