We were there: Xiaomi opened its largest physical store in Slovakia, with an area of 100 m2 and a wide range of products

Xiaomi is opening its fifth physical store in Slovakia. This newest one in the Avion shopping center in Bratislava will have an area of 100 square meters, making it also the biggest. That means the most displayed products from Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco smartphones to security smart cameras and robotic vacuum cleaners, all the way to electric e-scooters.

We were there—this is what the biggest Xiaomi Store in Slovakia looks like

Today, the Avion shopping mall in Bratislava was buzzing, mainly thanks to the opening of a new Xiaomi brand physical store. With an area of 100 m² , it’s the largest store of the Chinese manufacturer in Slovakia to date. We were invited to the opening even before the official opening to the public, and we’re bringing you a photo gallery of what it looks like inside.

About an hour before the official opening to the public, which took place at 13:00, a line of fans started forming in front of the store, waiting for the extreme launch discounts.

About at 14:00, one of the fans sent us a message with a video showing a decent line of people. Another fan told us that they’ve already been waiting in line for an hour just to get into the store. It’s clear that Xiaomi has a very strong fan presence in Slovakia and a solid community for the brand—we’re building that too at XiaomiPlanet.sk.

The biggest Xiaomi Store in Slovakia

As Milan Dzilský, country manager of Xiaomi CEE&Nordic, said: “Many of us have gotten used to convenient and fast online shopping, but we still go to brick-and-mortar stores to shop, and now maybe with even greater enjoyment than ever before. The personal experience with a product and the experience associated with shopping in brick-and-mortar stores are still important for consumers, not just the conservative ones.”

The ribbon-cutting ceremony and opening of the Xiaomi store in the Avion Shopping Park Bratislava will take place on June 18, 2022 at 13:00. On this occasion, Xiaomi will offer hundreds of its products in-store at extremely attractive prices.

Some of them discounted by as much as 50%. And practically all of the selected products will be priced at levels you won’t find in any other brick-and-mortar store—or even an electronics shop—in Slovakia. These prices will be valid only on the day of the store opening until stocks sell out. More information is available on the official website mi-store.sk.
