Xiaomi Mijia smart digital clocks are another of Xiaomi’s very affordable but feature-packed gadgets. And we know where you can buy them for the best price.
Benefits of buying products from China via Xiaomi PlanetShowNow on sale on AliExpress
Xiaomi Mijia Smart Temperature Humidity Pro comes with multiple functions and it’s not a regular watch that only displays the time. It can communicate with multiple home smart devices and set commands for them.
Right now, it’s most worth buying from an international seller on the online marketplace AliExpress. It will be delivered to you from a Chinese warehouse with shipping in as little as 10-15 business days after dispatch.
The clocks are sold in the Chinese version, which means that to connect them to the Mi Home app you’ll need to select the Chinese Mainland region or use the modified Mi Home by Vevs region-free app.
They show the time and measure both temperature and humidity
Xiaomi has several smart watches or thermometers in its lineup. But the manufacturer doesn’t stop there and introduces the Mijia smart digital clocks, which besides the time also display temperature and humidity.
The data is presented to the user on a power-saving E-ink display. The device is powered by two CR2032 batteries.
Since it’s a smart device, it’s equipped with Bluetooth connectivity that lets you pair it with your smartphone. The Mijia smart digital clocks can communicate with other smart devices from the Mi Home platform.
After pairing with an air conditioner, they can send commands to the cooling unit to turn on when the room temperature exceeds 25°C. Similar commands can also be sent to a heater or a humidifier.
Interestingly, the clock also displays a kind of smiley. It has two forms – the sad one indicates uncomfortable temperature and humidity values, while the happy one means the opposite.
That way, you’ll always know when you need to improve either the temperature or the humidity. Measurement of these two values is handled by a highly accurate Swiss Sensirion chip.
