Just recently, we told you that the expected POCO F6 appeared in the IMEI database. Fans look for new information about the “F” model line every day, information that should only be officially released when the base POCO F6 and its more powerful version POCO F6 Pro hit the market.
Like its predecessor, POCO F5 Pro, the POCO F6 Pro will focus mainly on the price-to-performance ratio and will be available in the global version. Thanks to information from the FCC database, we also know its other specifications.
FCC database data suggests when the POCO F6 could be unveiled
The upcoming POCO F6 Pro has appeared in the FCC database with the model number 23113RKC6G. Besides the revealed specs, the database also includes important information that the F6 Pro will see the light of day soon.
We expect the manufacturer to “rebrand” this model, which is a popular concept among Chinese brands. This is also confirmed by the model number of the upcoming POCO F6 Pro, which is very similar to the Redmi K70 model number, 23113RKC6C. This suggests that the upcoming POCO F6 Pro will be based on the flagship Redmi K70, specifically its Chinese version.
According to the certification letter, the smartphone will receive 4 880 mAh battery with Surge G1, which is the battery management chipset, and the latest HyperOS 1.0. Plus, if the new device really is based on Redmi K70, it will also get a chipset Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 2, generation with Adreno 740 GPU and up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM.
The official release date for the POCO F6 Pro is not known yet. Since its predecessor was announced in May last year, we can say that a similar schedule may be expected for the new model too.
